Last night, August 1, word broke that our next guest, long time activist, Ajamu Baraka had been selected by the Jill Stein campaign to be her vice-presidential running mate for the Green Party’s nomination for president of the united states. So we of course wanted to hear from the man himself once again.

Ajamu Baraka is an internationally recognized human rights activist, organizer and geo-political analyst. He is the Founding Executive Director of the US Human Rights Network (until 2011) and Coordinator of the U.S. based “Black Left Unity Network’s” Committee on International Affairs and he has also been a member of the Green Shadow Cabinet. and there is so very much more which can be learned about him and his work and his analyses via his website at ajamubaraka.com and we will of course provide a link to his many appearances on imixwhatilike!

  1. I believe that Mr.Baraka will be great being a part of the green rainbow party welcome to greens looking forward to future . Angel Ayala .@@

  2. Proud of my party and candidate for pulling no punches in their explicit critique of the neoliberal status quo via their nomination of Ajamu Baraka. I would love to see him in a debate with Mike Pence, Tim Kaine, and Bill Weld. That would be something American politics has never seen.

I was honored to cast my vote for Cynthia McKinney and Rosa Clemente in 2008, and to have donated to the campaigns of Jared Ball, Kat Swift and McKinney/Clemente. I still have my Ball 08 campaign t-shirt. Am guessing that this is one of the rarest “collectibles” in American politics. 🙂
