  1. In 1967, during a speech at New York’s Riverside Church, titled “Why I oppose the War in Vietnam”,Dr. Martin L.King Jr. called America ‘The greatest purveyor of violence in the world today”.

Six years later the greatest purveyor of violence strikes again, hideously on that infamously 9/11 date. September 11, 1973, the United States government backed by the CIA overthrew the government of Chile; replacing the democratically elected president, Salvador Allende, with the dictatorial Augusto Pinochet, head of the Chilean Armed Forces. As a result of this coup, 30,000 people were killed and 500,000 tortured.

On the 9/11/2001 World Trade Center attack, approximately 3,000 people people perished. When the U.S. commits terroristic acts against other
countries, it’s referred to as fun & games. When similar acts are perpetrated against the U.S, it’s “Why do they hate us”?

Considering this infamous date, should we recognize the U.S. as a leading terrorist State?
