I guess Black Power can mean anything now according to Dr. Joseph. What is his agenda?!
Yuuuup.
Dude is re-configuring Black Power such that it is wholly unrecognizable from the internationalist, Pan-Afrikanist, anti-imperialist, anti-capitalist and anti-white supremacist Black Power trajectory that Kwame Ture and Malcolm X were very clearly on. What is clear is that obama’s version of “Black Power” cannot be reconciled with the radical tradition that preceded him and is, quite frankly, an extension of u.s. white supremacist, capitalist imperialism.
