Broadcasting Africa

We will talk with these two veteran giants of broadcasting about their current work, and careers in various aspects of media, art, journalism, and activism all in service of creating, maintaining, and strengthening the African world. Ka’Ba is a DC-based Soul Singer of traditional Black music forms (jazz, blues, soul and R & B). As a “Soul Evangelist,” he will travel. He is also host of Jazz and Justice: The Afrikan Deep Thought Edition on WPFW 89.3 FM in Washington, DC. Netfa Freeman is a long-time host of Voices with Vision on WPFW 89.3 FM in Washington, DC and is also a veteran organizer with Pan-African Community Action and Black Alliance for Peace.
