Statement from Dhoruba released August 19, 2015:

  1. This assault on Dhoruba bin Wahad is so outrageous…you mean to tell me that a bunch of so called revolutionaries will attack a 70 year old man saying something that they don’t agree with while they refuse to step to the police, vigilantes, and community delinquents who are actively murdering African men, women, and children. These so-called “New” Black Panther motherfuckers are cowards pure and simple. They can beat up a man who literally dedicated his life to struggle to free their asses but when the cops come knocking, all that anti-authoritarian ish disappears. Why aren’t they in Ferguson with guns like this white “Oath Keepers” militia? Too busy physically harming those true to the struggle for African liberation.
