Dr. Hate is back for a close up look at the politics and psychology of the film Get Out.

From Dr. Huey P. Newton‘s Revolutionary Suicide:

“Revolutionary suicide does not mean that I and my comrades have a death wish; it means just the opposite. We have such a strong desire to live with hope and human dignity that existence without them is impossible. When reactionary forces crush us, we must move against these forces, even at the risk of death. We will have to be driven out with a stick.”

I know this is a bit off-topic, but IMO it’s related. IMO some analysis & critique should be done on how ‘liberal’ Holly-weird still finds a way to, when it comes to Blackness, hand out back-handed ‘compliment’ ‘awards’!! Last yr ‘Oscar So White’ Holly-weird failed to even nominate any people of color in any major category. So this yr they gave out some make-up awards / nominations: including the 1st best-picture award featuring a mainly Black cast [‘Moonlight’], & best documentary [‘OJ, Made in America’] nominally by a ‘Black’ Director.

So ‘Moon-Light’ featuring a ‘queer-relationship’ between 2 Black men, beats out Denzel’s ‘Fences’ & even ‘Hidden Figures [based on a true story featuring a Black woman cast]’. And How many other note-worthy movies featuring a mainly Black cast did NOT even get nominated for either best picture or best director- IE: ‘Dream Girls’ [FYI: musicals have won best-pix ala ‘Chicago’ w a non-musical cast], ‘American Gangster’ [both a better role for Denzel in a better film than ‘Training Day’s ‘Alonzo’ – yet Denzel did NOT even get nominated for portraying real-life Black gangster Frank Lucas], ‘Malcolm X’, etc…. But as soon as a [fictional] Film that tenderly ‘punks-out’ the brothers [under the ‘Moonlight’] comes along [of course the main Black character’s still gotta have a junkie momma & MIA daddy], Holly-weird hurries up & awards it w an unprecedented ‘Oscar’ [Humm…. I wonder how the now dearly departed Dr Francis Cress Welsing would have broke that down].

And then there’s ‘OJ: Made in America’. White folks just can’t seem to get enough ‘OJ’ Hater-aide! They set dumb-ass OJ up & then locked his ass up for effectively the rest of his life, YET Still they ain’t happy!! WTF could a ESPN documentary say over 20 yrs after the fact, that reviewing the actual film of the most televised trial in US history along w the actual transcripts of that trial has NOT already said??! This was all about confirming most white-folks belief that ‘the nigger OJ did it, & [almost] got away w it’- but this time they found a half white ‘Negro’ to front for them, in a so-called ‘revealing’ tell-all ‘documentary’ [NOT!]!!
    – And how many other REAL Black documentaries has ‘liberal’ ‘Holly-weird’ failed to even nominate let alone award an Oscar to?? [Note: IMO Likely Spike Lee’s best work besides Malcolm X, is his documentaries ‘4 Little Girls’ & ‘Katrina: When the Levees Broke’. Yet ‘liberal’ Holly-weird failed to even nominate them.]
    – PS: If you want to know why I’m now convinced OJ did NOT ‘Do It’, see the documentary & book by white crime-scene investigator Bill Dear: ‘OJ’s Guilty, But NOT of Murder’ & ‘The Overlooked Suspect’.

PS-2: I ‘overlooked’ the fact that Ava DuVernay’s ’13th’ was also up for best Documentary of 2016. I know Bro Dr Jared Ball has some [legit] ‘Issues’ w ’13th’, but I’m sure he’s likely got even more & bigger issues w ESPN’s ‘OJ: Made in AmeriKKKa’!!

  4. THANKS for this! Boy, I miss hearing this on the radio!
